Meaningful Personal Storytelling:
Positive Introductions

Do you have a personal story that you’re aching to share? Then this oral storytelling session is for you.
Inspired by The Moth, this storytelling session will give you the opportunity to share your story in a safe space to an empathic audience. You will also hear the personal stories of others and discover how deep down, we’re all quite similar.
The session will begin with storytelling icebreakers, then a short skills sharing session (inclusive of storytelling notes). After that, each participant will get to share a personal story of up to 7 minutes, and receive appreciation for it.
This month’s theme is Positive Introductions.
Share a story where you used one of your strengths or had a positive experience.
Your strengths can come from any area – it can be based on your MBTI personality type, a VIA Character Strength, or even a Human Design trait.

Meaningful Personal Storytelling
Experience the transformative power of personal storytelling
This is a personal storytelling session that begins with twenty minutes of foundational storytelling skills to help you find structure, shape, and soul. After that, the session will be dedicated to participants who want to share their personal stories.
This is a space for personal storytelling. It can be your story, if you feel ready to tell it. It can be someone else’s story, if you’re here to listen. It can be your response to someone’s story, if you want to share.
Stories are a form of connection – with others, and with yourself. Behind every face is a story, and behind every story is a thread of shared humanity. It is through finding that meaning in each story, that we ourselves are transformed by it.
For participants who wish to tell a story, prepare a story that is less than seven minutes long.
